Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Dibiase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kryler Crimson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dibiase tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crimson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Crimson gets the takedown into side control.

Dibiase misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dibiase throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dibiase shoots for a double leg takedown but Crimson sprawls well. He's pushed Dibiase's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Crimson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dibiase has time to react.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dibiase. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Crimson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Crimson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dibiase uses from the top position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Crimson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Crimson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dibiase stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Crimson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dibiase.
Crimson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Crimson lands with an uppercut that bounces Dibiase off the cage and back into rage.
Crimson is breathing heavily.
Crimson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Crimson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Dibiase misses with a wild body shot.

Dibiase closes the distance looking to clinch
and Crimson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Crimson gets caught flat footed, as Dibiase shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dibiase throws and elbow that misses. Crimson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dibiase's guard. Nice move by Crimson!

Dibiase is looking to sinch up a triangle. Crimson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dibiase's body to avoid the submission. Dibiase has instead reached around Crimson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dibiase arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
