Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joey Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demais Mueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Joey Cruz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Joey Cruz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mueller takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Cruz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mueller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cruz defends it nicely.
Mueller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cruz to the mat! Cruz manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mueller stops Cruz from standing up.

Mueller wants to control from the top but Cruz keeps moving.
Mueller chips away with some ground and pound.

Cruz wants to get back to his feet but Mueller is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mueller content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Mueller stands up from Cruz's guard - Mueller perhaps looking for a knockout.
Mueller shoots in and drives through. Cruz sprawls well.

Cruz stuffs the takedown attempt from Mueller. Mueller gets slowly back to his feet.
Joey Cruz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demais Mueller.
Cruz moves into the clinch.
Mueller is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mueller pulls guard successfully.
Mueller pulls Cruz in close to prevent any damage.
Cruz stands up over Mueller, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Mueller is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cruz is working Mueller over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mueller throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Mueller pushes a forearm under Cruz's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Cruz is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
