The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clam Digger gets tackled into the cage by Del Norte. Del Norte maintains the clinch.

Del Norte wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Clam Digger has him pressed against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Clam Digger lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Del Norte backwards.

Clam Digger feints and then cracks Del Norte's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Del Norte down.

Fantinaz Del Norte is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Clam Digger tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Clam Digger connects with a leg kick. Del Norte looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Clam Digger counters with a shoot takedown. Del Norte fights it but they end up in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Del Norte has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Clam Digger can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Del Norte is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Clam Digger frees his head nicely. Oh but Del Norte has switched to an armbar! Clam Digger is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
