Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cabbage Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Collins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Never Give Up. Face comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Monsta's Ball kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Cabbage Face has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Face shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Collins pinned against the cage. Collins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Face throws a right hand that Collins ducks under and follows up with a left that Collins also avoids with ease. Face fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Face looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Collins shoots in looking for a takedown but Face manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Collins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Face moves into range and clinches up with Collins. Face breaks the clinch.
Collins fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Collins closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Face did well to prevent Collins getting side control. Collins controlling the pace. Collins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Face doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Collins.
That's one minute gone in the round. Face has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Collins is working away from the top position though. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Collins is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Donovan Collins just wasn't active enough. Face shoots in for a double leg but Collins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Collins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Face throws a strike but Collins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Face keeping moving, preventing Collins from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Face thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Face takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Face passes to side control. Sloppy strikes there by Face. Collins avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Face. Face is looking to take a break and control but Collins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Face working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Face working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Collins is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Collins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Cabbage Face is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Face closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Collins is trying to improve his position. Face has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Collins pushes Face away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Face gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Donovan Collins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Face just content to control the position. Face trying to control the position but Collins is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Face creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Collins sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Collins is trying to improve his position. Face tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. You can see the frustration on Collins's face as Face controls the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Collins managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Face.
And that's the end of the fight! Cabbage Face comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Face has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Cabbage Face! Cabbage Face decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
