Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kari Pekka Perse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and T Boone Pickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). T Boone Pickens struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perse thows a body shot but no joy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perse sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Pickens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Poor strikes thrown by Perse there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
