The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Damon defends it nicely.
El Ahorro Damon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garcia tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Damon defends well and Garcia ends up having to push Damon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Garcia is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Damon is defending well for now.
