Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Boris Knife!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Cash!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cash closes the distance looking to clinch

and Knife counters by clinching up.

Knife drags the fight down to the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Knife looking for a guillotine here but Cash defends easily.
Knife has a closed guard, preventing Cash from standing up.
Knife working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cash.
Knife knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cash on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cash wants to control from the top but Knife keeps moving.

Knife looking for a guillotine here but Cash defends easily.
Cash tries to stand but Knife is controlling from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cash slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Knife tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Cash tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Knife on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Knife tries to get out of the position.
Cash tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Knife tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knife wants to control but Cash postures up.
Cash scoring with punches from side control.
Knife might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Knife tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Cash presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Knife working to try and regain half guard.

Cash looking to secure an arm triangle but Knife defends it well.
Cash prevents Knife from getting the reversal.
Cash is looking to stand but Cash has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Cash tries to control but Knife wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Cash dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Cash throws a nice looking combination but Knife bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cash misses with a head kick.
Cash looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Johnny Cash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Knife crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cash - the referee stops the clock and Knife gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cash. Knife manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Cash with a lazy takedown attempt
and Knife counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Johnny Cash has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cash tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Knife counters with a left to the body.
Knife lands a body shot.
Knife throws a series of punches but Cash moves out of range.

Knife moves into the clinch successfully.

Knife manages to pull guard.
Cash has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Soul Supremacy Elite - UK. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Cash is breathing heavily.

Knife looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cash wants to stand but Knife has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Cash avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Knife looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Cash passes into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cash working away.
Knife looks to move to half guard but instead Cash has passed into mount! Damn!
Knife is squirming around, avoiding Cash's attempts to control the action.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Cash has control of Knife's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Knife regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Knife really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Knife is working hard here to advance position.
Cash tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Knife is in all sorts of trouble here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Knife blocking the ground and pound.
Cash is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boris Knife dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Johnny Cash's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Cash wants to clinch

and Knife counters by clinching up.

Knife manages to pull guard.
Cash sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Knife's guard.
Cash trying to control from half guard but Knife is working away.

Knife looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Cash thows a huge punch but Knife dodges it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cash uses his free foot to push down on Knife's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Knife.

Cash working for a submission but Knife is keeping him at bay.
Cash wants to control the pace but Knife is squirming around nicely.
Cash throwing strikes here but Knife is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cash can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Knife is looking to escape.
Knife keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cash manages to capitalize on a mistake by Knife to take his back!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Knife is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cash gets his way!
Knife tries to roll but Cash sticks to his back.

Knife is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Knife tries to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cash wants to control but Knife is keeping busy.

Knife showing good submission defense here.

And that's the end of the fight!
Johnny Cash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Cash has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
