The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov lands a lovely overhand right.
Vitali Kersikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beckett throws a nice head kick!
Kersikov swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kersikov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beckett was well out of range. Poor timing from Kersikov.
Beckett throws an overhand right that lands on Kersikov's shoulder, as Kersikov tries to avoid the shot.
Beckett stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kersikov.
Beckett takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Beckett is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Kersikov moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

An out of breath Vitali Kersikov thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
