Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocko Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Project Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fighter's choice of entrance music: Control-Papoose. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocko Balboa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Project Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa stalks Fighter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fighter's face. Fighter staggers backwards, shaken.
Balboa tests Fighter's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Balboa throws a nice looking combination but Fighter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Balboa misses with a series of wild punches.
Balboa cracks Fighter with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A combination from Balboa does no damage.
Balboa looks to land a combination but Fighter avoids it well.
Sloppy strikes from Fighter. Those never looked like landing.

Fighter closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Balboa to the mat! Balboa manages to get full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Fighter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Fighter passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fighter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Balboa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fighter is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Balboa is trying to escape and Fighter transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Balboa is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fighter! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Project Fighter!
Project Fighter very nearly forgot to thank Knox Energy amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
