The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bautista connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A lazy left from Sunshine finds it's target.
Sunshine lands with a right hand.
Bautista lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bautista misses with a low kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sunshine throws a series of punches but Bautista avoids them all with ease.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bautista has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bautista swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Bautista ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sunshine moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Sunshine takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bautista postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Sunshine tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Bautista stands up over Sunshine, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sunshine utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Bautista has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Bautista is looking to take a break and control but Sunshine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bautista throws an elbow but Sunshine slips to the side and avoids it well.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Sunshine will probably get the nod.

Sunshine wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sunshine clobbers Bautista with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Bautista lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Sunshine lands with a nice combination. Bautista backs away looking to recover.
Sunshine wobbles Bautista with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Sunshine dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Bautista to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
