Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Merik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nai Khanom Tom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt comes into the arena with Comfortably Numb blaring out of the sound system. Khanom Tom has chosen Round 5 as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hunt is defended easily by Khanom Tom .
Hunt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Khanom Tom .
Hunt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Khanom Tom manages to avoid it.
Hunt scores with a nice strike.
Hunt fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Khanom Tom to the ground. Hunt is now in Khanom Tom 's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hunt stands up over Khanom Tom , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunt bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Merik Hunt.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hunt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
