Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between PJ Harvey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Zinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harvey comes to the cage accompanied by Set Me Free. Zinn has chosen All Day as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Martin Zinn was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, PJ Harvey!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martin Zinn!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harvey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zinn looks to score with a jab to the body but Harvey is just out of range.
Harvey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Harvey misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zinn.
Harvey tries to land a front kick but Zinn steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
PJ Harvey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zinn darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


It looks like PJ Harvey has been cut.
Zinn dips to his left and cracks Harvey with an uppercut!
Harvey misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zinn.
Harvey misses with an attempted mid kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Zinn. Harvey does a little dance to reset his feet.
Harvey swings for the body but Zinn moves out of range.
Zinn blocks a head kick by Harvey.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big left from Harvey misses.
Harvey looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Zinn scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Harvey has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Zinn.
Zinn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

That's one minute gone in the round.
and Zinn counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Harvey! He's just covering up as Zinn starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Zinn!
Martin Zinn is the new middleweight champion!
A very excited looking Martin Zinn made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
