The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for O Donnell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Roy moves into the clinch successfully.
O Donnell blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as O Donnell takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Still in the clinch, Roy scores with a nice short uppercut.

O Donnell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Roy throws a looping overhand right but O Donnell ducks down to avoid it.
O Donnell misses with a straight right.
O Donnell pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Roy. O Donnell does a little dance to reset his feet.
O Donnell takes a swing at Roy's ribcage but misses.
O Donnell avoids the body shot from Roy.
A slow jab from Roy misses its intended target.
O Donnell ducks under a wild hook from Roy.
Roy lands a nice shot to the body.
O Donnell uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Roy has time to react.
Roy fails to land the takedown.

Roy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Roy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Roy tries to bum rush O Donnell with a series of wild strikes but O Donnell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
O Donnell slips a jab and a cross from Roy.

and Roy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Myles O Donnell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Roy tests O Donnell's chin there with a solid looking shot.
O Donnell paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
O Donnell swings for the body but Roy moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Roy darts in looking for a takedown but O Donnell gets double underhooks and turns Roy into the cage.
Myles O Donnell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Roy.

O Donnell manages to break the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by O Donnell. That's going to slow Roy down.

Roy walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! O Donnell swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
