And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark misses with a hook
and Jackson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Taylor Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson throws a shot from downtown. Clark moves away and avoids it.
Clark throws a leg kick but Jackson checks it.
Jackson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jackson fails with the takedown.
We've been told by Clark's head coaches at Ballas Only that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Clark tries a low kick but Jackson avoids it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

John Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Taylor Clark.
