Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marvin Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Digol Bick!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bick dives in for a single leg takedown but Harris sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Harris displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bick up against the cage.

Harris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bick fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Harris avoids it really well and circles away.
Bick shoots in for a double leg but Harris sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Marvin Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Digol Bick.
Bick shoots and misses

and Harris lands a stunning uppercut that sends Bick to the mat!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bick looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harris is thwarting Bick's attempts to control the position.
Bick wants to sweep but Harris has passed to side control!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Harris wants to stand but Bick is controlling his arm.
Bick is looking for a sweep.
Harris trying to control the action but Bick is working from the bottom.
Bick is looking to reverse the position.
Bick looking for a sweep but Harris has passed into full mount! Oh no!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bick is looking to get to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bick tries to hold on but Harris pushes him away.
Bick keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bick is just holding on here. Harris manages to take his back.
Bick can't escape the position.
Harris keeps control of the position easily here as Bick tries to buck him off.
Bick is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bick trying to control the hands but Harris won't let him.
You can see the frustration on Bick's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Harris slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Harris doesn't have the hooks in and Bick manages to turn into his guard.
Bick looking to pass the guard.
Harris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bick scoring with some ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bick drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Harris manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bick has Harris in his guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marvin Harris dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Harris throws a good cross that connects.
Bick fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bick checks a leg kick nicely.
Harris dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bick fails to land the takedown.
Bick with a lazy takedown attempt
and Harris counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Marvin Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Digol Bick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harris connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Bick to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Harris!
