Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Valiant Thorr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hawkeye Pierce!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorr misses with a takedown attempt - Pierce sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Thorr looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pierce!
Pierce is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Thorr is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Pierce has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Pierce!
Thorr has an active guard here but Pierce has managed to pass into half guard.
Pierce tries to stand but can't do so whilst Thorr controls his leg.
Thorr wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pierce escapes and gets back to his feet.
Nice body punch from Pierce.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pierce drops Thorr with a left and a right! Oh, Thorr is hurt - Pierce dives into side control looking to finish!
Thorr is rocked!
It looks like Valiant Thorr has been cut.
Thorr is breathing heavily.
Pierce stands up.
Oh Thorr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thorr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pierce but Pierce pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Thorr shoots for a double leg takedown but Pierce sprawls well. He's pushed Thorr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Thorr seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Valiant Thorr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pierce lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Thorr at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pierce connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Thorr tumbling to the canvas! Pierce pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Thorr was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Hawkeye Pierce!
