Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Croak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Snead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Croak comes to the cage accompanied by Be my light. The crowd seem to be enjoying Snead's choice of entrance music: Trinidad James - All Gold Everything. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Croak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Snead! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snead blocks a head kick by Croak.
Snead throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Croak looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Croak gets in close and instigates a clinch. Snead escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Snead. Croak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Snead paws at him with a jab and circles away. Snead misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Snead fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Croak has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Croak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Croak closes the distance and pushes Snead back into the cage. Croak manages to break the clinch.
Snead connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Croak momentarily.
Croak wants to clinch and Snead counters with a series of strikes. Croak will be more careful next time no doubt. Snead circles away from the clinch attempt.
Croak misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Croak tries to clinch there but Snead circles away.
Croak darts in and clinches Snead up against the cage. Croak's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. John Croak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Croak listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. A head kick misses from Snead. Snead feints a jab promting Croak to slip. Snead then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Croak slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Snead looks winded! Croak tries to clinch but Snead moves out of range. Snead swings away with a leg kick that misses. Croak tries to clinch up. Snead takes one to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Snead scores with a jab. Croak acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Snead throws a right hand that Croak ducks under and follows up with a left that Croak also avoids with ease. Croak lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Snead circles away quickly and effectively. Croak has closed the distance and engaged Snead in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Croak decides to pull guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Croak manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Snead scores with a hook. Snead pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Croak back to the cage. Snead follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Snead takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Croak darts in and clinches Snead up against the cage. Croak has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Snead is trying to keep an underhook but Croak manages to get the takedown into half guard. Snead really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Croak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Croak postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Snead to stand up. Croak is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Croak clinches up against the cage. Croak manages to break the clinch.
Snead is looking to chop away at Croak's legs. Snead tries to bum rush Croak with a series of wild strikes but Croak uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Croak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Snead manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Croak drops Snead with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Snead! Croak dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Croak! A relieved looking John Croak thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
