Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Gryphen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and January Kwiecinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gryphen comes to the cage accompanied by Tubthumping. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Forrest Gryphen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, January Kwiecinski! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kwiecinski keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gryphen throws a low kick but Kwiecinski avoids it. Gryphen doesn't manage to clinch there - Kwiecinski circles away.
The fighters circling - Kwiecinski throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gryphen is looking to score with low kicks. Gryphen misses with a leg kick and Kwiecinski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kwiecinski misses with a head kick.
Kwiecinski thuds his right hand into Gryphen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kwiecinski with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kwiecinski just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. A slapping body kick lands there for Kwiecinski. Gryphen does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A looping hook to the body misses from Kwiecinski. Gryphen does a little dance to reset his feet. Kwiecinski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gryphen throws a solid leg kick but Kwiecinski takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gryphen. Gryphen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kwiecinski is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Gryphen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gryphen doesn't manage to clinch there - Kwiecinski circles away.
Gryphen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kwiecinski drops his hands momentarily and Gryphen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kwiecinski throws out a loose jab but Gryphen uses good head movement to avoid it. Gryphen is looking to score with low kicks. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kwiecinski scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Forrest Gryphen has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gryphen avoids the head kick by Kwiecinski.

A swing and a miss from Gryphen. Gryphen lands a lovely overhand right. Kwiecinski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gryphen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kwiecinski lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gryphen at a distance.
A jab lands there for Kwiecinski. Kwiecinski throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Kwiecinski's corner calls for a 1-2. Kwiecinski obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. We've been informed that Kwiecinski has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kwiecinski closes the distance and pushes Gryphen back into the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kwiecinski is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kwiecinski tries to land knees in the clinch but Gryphen avoids the damage to the body. Gryphen working Kwiecinski over with knees to the body. Gryphen missing with knees to the body.
Gryphen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gryphen misses with a leg kick and Kwiecinski counters with a head kick. That will keep Gryphen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Gryphen thows a leg kick but Kwiecinski checks it and Kwiecinski counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Gryphen misses with a right hand and Kwiecinski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kwiecinski fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gryphen on the side of the head. Gryphen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
January Kwiecinski dominated that round. The cut man is working on Forrest Gryphen's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kwiecinski throws a head kick that misses. Gryphen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Gryphen checks the leg kick. Kwiecinski jabs Gryphen to the body, keeping him at a distance. Gryphen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kwiecinski. Kwiecinski moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. A low kick from Gryphen misses and Kwiecinski makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Gryphen really felt that one! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kwiecinski misses with an uppercut. Gryphen saw that one coming. Forrest Gryphen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gryphen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kwiecinski - the referee stops the clock and Gryphen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kwiecinski. Gryphen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Kwiecinski lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kwiecinski checks a leg kick. Gryphen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Gryphen throws a leg kick that is checked and Kwiecinski counters with a head kick that drops Gryphen to the mat! Gryphen scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Gryphen is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kwiecinski lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
