Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Moraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Sajdak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moraes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Apaga mas não bate!. Sajdak is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thrift Shop. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sajdak misses with a few strikes there.
Moraes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sajdak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moraes pinned against the cage. Moraes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Moraes gets a clinch. Moraes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sajdak is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Moraes manages to break the clinch.
Moraes checks a leg kick nicely. Sajdak pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Moraes back to the cage. Sajdak follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Miguel Moraes has been cut. Sajdak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sajdak goes for a double leg but Moraes avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Moraes continues to drive forward. Moraes slows down the pace here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Moraes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Moraes is breathing heavily. Sajdak fails to land the takedown. Sajdak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sajdak leaves Moraes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Moraes swats away the attempt to clinch by Sajdak. Moraes thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sajdak if he has to take too many more of those.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sajdak misses with a few strikes there.

Moraes slips nicely into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sajdak wants to get back to full guard. Sajdak avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Moraes. Moraes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sajdak wants to control but Moraes is keeping busy.

Moraes is trying to control the action in half guard but Sajdak is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sajdak has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moraes is working away from the top position though. Moraes is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Moraes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sajdak tries to roll over but Moraes keeps him under control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moraes is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sajdak! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sajdak scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Joe Sajdak. I think Sajdak has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Joe Sajdak! Joe Sajdak decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
