The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melroy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rustow tries to avoid it but Melroy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rustow to the ground. Rustow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Melroy is breathing heavily.
Rustow checks a leg kick nicely.
Rustow circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rustow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Melroy misses with a double jab
and Rustow counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Melroy to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Rustow!
