Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Staffan Hjalmarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Raclef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Raclef struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hjalmarson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Raclef as he avoids it easily.

Raclef lands a really nice looking cross but Hjalmarson seems unphased.
The fighters circle momentarily. Raclef darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Raclef bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hjalmarson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Raclef wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Raclef scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Raclef wants to control from the top but Hjalmarson keeps moving.
Hjalmarson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Raclef throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hjalmarson's body to avoid the submission. Hjalmarson has instead reached around Raclef's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hjalmarson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
