Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Neilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrence Nassiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neilson comes to the cage accompanied by Who Run This- 50 cent. Terrence Nassiri told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neilson misses with the combination.
Neilson takes the fight into the clinch.
Neilson tries for a takedown. No joy.
Nassiri keeps control of Neilson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Nassiri wants the takedown. Neilson is fighting it off but Nassiri persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Neilson's guard against the cage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neilson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Neilson will probably get the nod.

Nassiri scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Nassiri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Neilson's waist but Neilson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nassiri off to one side.
Nassiri has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Neilson finds it's way round the side to connect with Nassiri's head.

Nassiri shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Neilson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nassiri's guard now.

Nassiri takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A head kick lands from Nassiri that sends Neilson to the canvas. Neilson tries to scramble back to his feet but Nassiri brings him back down into side control.

Nassiri looks up at the clock and then as Neilson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nassiri smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Terrence Nassiri comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Neilson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
