Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Granite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Gambit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Granite's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Brokencyde - Get Crunk. Gambit has chosen Dj Kool - Let Me Clear My Throat as his entrance music. Rocky Granite has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocky Granite! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Gambit! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Gambit. Granite does a little dance to reset his feet. Gambit misses with a looping left. Granite shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gambit defends it nicely. Gambit scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Granite takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Rocky Granite has been cut. Gambit tries to clinch but fails miserably and Granite decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gambit's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gambit is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
This has been an exciting period of action! Gambit wants to sweep but no luck. Gambit not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Granite lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Granite has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Gambit is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Granite defends well. Gambit trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Granite trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gambit looking for a guillotine here but Granite defends easily.
Granite trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gambit is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Gambit is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Gambit wants to lay and pray for a moment but Granite keeps working. Gambit is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Granite doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gambit. Gambit looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Gambit thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gambit is looking to advance position but Granite won't allow it. Gambit trying to control from half guard but Granite is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Granite is looking for a sweep. Gambit is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Gambit stalling. Gambit missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Granite won't allow Gambit to pass to mount. Gambit passes to full mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gambit is trying to take his opponent's back.

Jason Gambit dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rocky Granite's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gambit scores with a jab to the body. Gambit throws a jab when Granite was well out of range. Rocky Granite is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Granite rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gambit moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gambit throws a right hand that Granite ducks under and follows up with a left that Granite also avoids with ease. Gambit lands a jab-cross combination. Gambit tries to clinch there but Granite circles away.
Gambit throws a hook to the side of Granite's head but Granite sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Gambit missing with a left hand there. Granite was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Granite keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gambit. Gambit connects with a body shot. Granite shoots and misses and Gambit counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Granite needs to keep his hands up - Gambit had a free shot at his head there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gambit throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gambit misses the jab. Gambit uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Granite has time to react. Gambit connects with a single shot there. Gambit lands with an uppercut that bounces Granite off the cage and back into range. Gambit scores with a nice strike. Gambit scores with a jab. Granite acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Granite takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Good shot there by Gambit. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters circling - Gambit throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gambit closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Gambit gets underhooks to prevent Granite's takedown attempt.
Gambit lands an uppercut. Gambit lands on the inside with an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gambit pushes Granite back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Granite blocks an uppercut.
Gambit throws a head punch that misses. Granite is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocky Granite. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gambit tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Gambit lands an uppercut. Gambit misses with a short punch on the inside. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gambit creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A short right hand to the side of the head by Gambit. Gambit works on Granite's body with a couple of short punches. Gambit lands a body punch in the clinch. Gambit is leaning against Granite and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Still in the clinch, Gambit scores with a nice short uppercut. Gambit lands a right hand that snaps the head of Granite backwards. Gambit has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gambit lands with a light punch inside. Gambit misses with a hook from the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gambit makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A nice right hand lands inside from Gambit. A head punch on the inside from Gambit fails to land. Gambit has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and Granite goes down! Gambit pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!
Granite is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Gambit is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Granite has escaped the position, nice work there. Oh Granite is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Granite is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Gambit tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Granite seems to have got his legs back now. Gambit working the body and head with strikes. Granite is being controlled here. Gambit landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Granite is trying to control Gambit's posture but Gambit avoids it. Gambit cracks Granite with a big elbow. Gambit throws a strike aimed at the side of Granite's head but Granite avoids it well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gambit working the ground and pound. Gambit tries for a kimura but Granite is defending well. You can see the frustration on Granite's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Granite takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Gambit looks up at the clock and then as Granite takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gambit smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Granite fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gambit avoids it really well and circles away. Granite is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gambit swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Granite. Gambit throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gambit thuds a left hand into Granite's body. Granite tries to move into range but Gambit moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Rocky Granite's cut is getting worse. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Granite takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Gambit throws a head kick that Granite semi-blocks.
Granite ducks right into an uppercut from Gambit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gambit's jab looks to have found its range, popping Granite under the eye. Gambit pounces like a tiger and cracks Granite with a vicious hook! Granite is down but not out! Gambit follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jason Gambit! A less than humble Jason Gambit misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
