Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas LaVey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaVey's entrance music is Deicide - Scars Of The Crucifix. A fine choice. Santos has chosen Hate Me Now as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaVey pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Santos checks the leg kick nicely there.
A looping hook to the body misses from LaVey. Santos does a little dance to reset his feet.
Santos is looking to clinch.

LaVey gets tackled into the cage by Santos. Santos maintains the clinch.
Santos tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Santos tries a knee to the head but LaVey blocks it.
Santos told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
LaVey is trying to maintain a safe position but Santos gets an underhook and turns LaVey into the cage.

Santos swings wildly with an uppercut but LaVey uses good head movement to avoid it.

Santos tries to land a knee to the head but LaVey blocks with his arms.

Santos throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Santos misses with a punch to the body.

LaVey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Santos moves to clinch but LaVey breaks away
and LaVey counters with a right hand to the body.
LaVey looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Santos tries to land a leg kick but LaVey saw it coming and moves away.
LaVey swats away the attempt to clinch by Santos.
Santos moves out of range of the strikes.
Santos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. LaVey manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Santos throws a leg kick but LaVey sees it coming and moves out of range.
Lucas LaVey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Santos shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Matt Santos has been cut.

LaVey sends Santos crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! LaVey is motioning to the referee to let Santos up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Santos is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Santos seems to have recovered his senses.
Santos scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
LaVey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Santos manages to avoid it.

and LaVey counters with a nice right hand that sends Santos toppling to the canvas! Santos scrambles and gets back to his feet - can LaVey finish him?!

LaVey throws a head kick but Santos moves out of range.
Santos is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. LaVey Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Santos is out cold, face down on the mat!
