Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Miller!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Miller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Coleston throws a head kick that misses.
Miller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Coleston misses with a kick to the body.
Miller swinging wildly here.

Coleston clinches.
Miller wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Coleston prevents Miller from breaking the clinch.

Coleston has clasped his hands together around Miller's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Coleston content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Miller is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Coleston looks up at the clock and then as Miller takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Coleston smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Coleston takes a little break here. Miller wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Coleston decides to stand up, so the ref orders Miller to his feet.

Miller punishes Coleston's body with a nice straight punch.
Joe Miller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Coleston fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Miller tries to clinch up.
Miller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Coleston throws a right hand that Miller ducks under and follows up with a left that Miller also avoids with ease.
Coleston throws a head kick that misses.
Miller takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Miller misses with a few strikes there.

Coleston drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Coleston wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working.
Coleston will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Coleston remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Coleston has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Coleston wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Miller, who protects the arm well.
Coleston postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Coleston just content to control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mike Coleston.
Miller doesn't manage to clinch there - Coleston circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Miller gets caught napping as Coleston dives in and scores a takedown. Miller manages to retain guard.

Miller is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Miller closes the distance but Coleston moves to the side

and Coleston counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Coleston.
Miller tries to circle away but Coleston has him pinned against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Miller's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Coleston gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Miller tries to kick Coleston off but Coleston keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Well, if Coleston is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Mike Coleston has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Coleston drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Coleston is controlling him well.

Miller is letting Coleston control him for a moment.

Coleston decides to stand back up.
Coleston shoots for a double leg takedown but Miller sprawls well. He's pushed Coleston's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Miller circles away from the clinch attempt.
Miller lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Miller wants to clinch.
Miller fakes the leg kick and cracks Coleston in the body.

Coleston looking for a takedown.
Coleston really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Miller looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Miller wants to break free but Coleston has control.
Miller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Coleston has him pressed against the cage.
Miller tries to circle away but Coleston has him pinned against the cage.
Miller is looking to break free of the clinch but Coleston has double underhooks.

Coleston's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Miller wants to break free but Coleston has control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Miller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Coleston looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Miller!

Coleston swings around for an armbar but Miller sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Coleston's guard.
Coleston will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Miller tries to stand but Coleston is controlling from the bottom.

Coleston wants to sweep but no luck.

Miller is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Coleston has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Miller is looking to defend but Coleston has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Miller! Coleston pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Miller taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mike Coleston!
