Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gabriel Nascimento! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nascimento with a body punch. A glancing blow. Gracie moves out of range as Nascimento strikes. Gracie has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Nascimento. Nascimento tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Nascimento. Nascimento fails with an attempt to clinch.

It looks like Antonio Gracie has been cut. Gabriel Nascimento seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nascimento throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nascimento tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nascimento was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nascimento can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Nascimento is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nascimento wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment. Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nascimento's guard. Nascimento is looking to escape. Nascimento is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
Nascimento is trying to maintain the position but Gracie is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nascimento is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold. Nascimento is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nascimento doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nascimento wants to get back to his feet.
Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nascimento pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.
Nascimento has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though. Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gracie in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Nascimento tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gracie!
