PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Metal Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripper comes to the cage accompanied by Sabaton - Metal ripper. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Keith Richards!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Richards checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ripper misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ripper uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Richards.
No joy there for Ripper, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Richards scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Richards misses with a few strikes there.
Richards lands with a thumping leg kick.

Richards pushes Ripper up against the cage in a clinch.
Richards misses with an elbow over the top.
Richards unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Richards lands a nice elbow.
Richards's coach down at 63745 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Richards's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Ripper has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Richards clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Ripper is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Ripper is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Richards knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Richards for a finish.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ripper is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Richards is defending well though. Ripper let's go of the attempt for now.

Richards rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Ripper is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Richards is staying active underneath Ripper, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Metal Ripper will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Richards dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ripper. That did some damage!
Ripper thuds his right hand into Richards's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
