Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Lok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thioon Phitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lok comes to the ring accompanied by Butthole Surfers - Pepper. Damien Lok could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Thioon Phitch's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Lok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thioon Phitch! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lok fails with a takedown attempt. A looping hook to the body misses from Phitch. Lok does a little dance to reset his feet. Lok staying out of range there. Phitch is looking to clinch but Lok is avoiding it.
Phitch takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lok fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Phitch lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Phitch darts in trying to clinch and Lok counters with a nice double leg into guard. Lok postures up in Phitch's guard and throws a big left but Phitch blocks it. Lok chips away with some ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Phitch has his hands on Lok's head, controlling the position. Lok has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Phitch keeping full guard, as Lok tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lok wants to control from the top but Phitch keeps moving. Phitch preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Phitch told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Lok looking to pass the guard. Phitch keeping moving, preventing Lok from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Damien Lok wasn't doing enough on the ground. Phitch tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Lok manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The fight stays on the outside here - Phitch looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lok looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Phitch is fending him off so far but Lok persists. Nope, Phitch circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damien Lok. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lok swats away the attempt to clinch by Phitch. Phitch wants to clinch up but Lok keeps it at a distance. Lok shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Phitch defends it nicely. Phitch lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lok at a distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Phitch gets caught flat footed, as Lok shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lok will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Phitch keeping moving, preventing Lok from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damien Lok dominated that round. That's time! Lok's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lok gets the takedown into side control. Lok trying to control the action but Phitch is working from the bottom. Lok throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. He has the arm isolated but Phitch is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lok is trying to control. Phitch wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Lok is trying to work for a kimura but Phitch is defending well.
Lok seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Phitch has recovered full guard. Phitch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damien Lok dominated that second round. That's time! Lok's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Phitch displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lok. Lok avoids the body shot from Phitch.
Lok shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Phitch as he jumps to the side. Lok lands with a nice combination. Phitch backs away looking to recover. Phitch cracks Lok with a right hand to the side of the head. Lok avoids the body shot from Phitch.
Phitch misses with an uppercut. Phitch cracks Lok with a right hand to the side of the head. Lok shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Phitch pinned against the ropes. Phitch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damien Lok. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lok misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Thioon Phitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Phitch tries to clinch but Lok is having none of it. Lok fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Phitch moves into range and clinches up with Lok.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phitch trying to land knees to the body.

Lok lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Lok wants to advance to full mount but Phitch doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Phitch avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Damien Lok overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lok controls from within his opponent's guard. Lok trying to control but Phitch is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Phitch can't keep his opponent in guard - Lok advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lok is looking to stall here but Phitch recovers full guard. Lok throws a big elbow that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but Damien Lok did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Phitch lunges at Lok with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lok's hand. Phitch tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Lok manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Phitch wants to clinch. Phitch staying out of range there. Lok doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Lok looking to score a takedown here. Phitch is defending well but Lok drives through and ends up in Phitch's guard. Phitch controls Lok momentarily but Lok frees himself. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Phitch holds on and takes a little breather. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lok's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lok throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Phitch works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Thioon Phitch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lok. Lok tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Phitch defends well and Lok ends up having to push Phitch into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Phitch as Lok tries to tie him up. Lok is trying to drag Phitch to the mat but Phitch just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damien Lok. That's going to take a lot out of him. Phitch lands an elbow inside. Phitch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Phitch staying out of range there. A punch combination from Phitch misses. Phitch swings for the body but Lok moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Phitch tries to clinch up. Lok misses with a head kick.
A big right from Lok misses. Lok misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Phitch.
Phitch keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Lok digs a good hook to Phitch's body.
Phitch throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Phitch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lok misses the body punch and Phitch counters with a lovely straight right hand! Thioon Phitch seems to be getting the better of the standup. Phitch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Phitch moves out of range of the strikes. Lok takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Phitch closes the distance and clinches. Lok tries to break free but Phitch pushes him back against the ropes. A short right from Lok. Phitch lands a left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close fourth round but Thioon Phitch will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Phitch tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lok throws a hook to the side of Phitch's head but Phitch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Phitch defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lok. Phitch has taken the fight to the clinch.

Phitch throws a body punch but Lok moves out of range. The crowd cheers as Lok lands an impressive looking overhand right. Phitch doesn't seem phased though. Lok shoots in looking for a takedown but Phitch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lok's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Phitch moves to clinch but Lok breaks away and Lok counters with a nice double leg into guard. Phitch trying to control the position here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lok wants to pass the guard but Phitch is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lok postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lok missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Phitch not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Thioon Phitch wasn't active enough on the ground. Phitch thows a body shot but no joy. Lok clobbers Phitch with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Phitch looks to land a left hand but Lok moved out of range nicely. Lok misses with a looping left. Lok shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lok showed some decent athleticism there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lok is working for a kimura here but Phitch manages to reverse the position and he's now in Lok's guard.
Phitch controls from within his opponent's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lok is on top in guard.
