Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bj Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Fittz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bj Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Markus Fittz! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fittz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Penn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fittz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fittz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Penn circles away quickly and effectively. Penn cracks Fittz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Penn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fittz.
Fittz loads up on a big right hand but Penn slips the punch. Fittz stuns Penn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Penn throws a lazy uppercut
and Fittz moves into the clinch. Fittz lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Fittz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Fittz misses with a double jab
and Penn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. No joy there for Fittz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Penn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Penn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Bj Penn has been cut. Bj Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Penn connects with a single shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Penn. Fittz does a little dance to reset his feet. Fittz drops Penn with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Penn! Fittz dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Markus Fittz! During a confident post fight interview, Markus Fittz thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
