Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stack Shillings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Calypso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shillings comes to the cage accompanied by UGK - Diamonds and Wood (Chopped and Screwed). Calypso has chosen Jedi Mind Tricks - Genghis Khan as his entrance music. Jack Calypso will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stack Shillings!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Calypso!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shillings tries to land a front kick but Calypso steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Shillings cracks the inside of Calypso's front leg.
Shillings displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Calypso.
Calypso blocks the body kick.
Shillings misses with a low kick.
Shillings throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Calypso tries for a takedown but Shillings circles away easily
and Shillings counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Calypso walks forward, straight into a front kick from Shillings.
Calypso looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shillings throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Calypso.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Calypso steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Shillings. That one must have hurt.
Shillings definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shillings throws the left hand but Calypso avoids the punch easily.
Stack Shillings is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shillings slaps away a takedown attempt from Calypso, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Stack Shillings has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Calypso.
Shillings misses with a low kick.
Shillings throws a nice inside leg kick.
Shillings misses the shot to the body.
Shillings misses with an attempted mid kick.
Calypso takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shillings connects with a leg kick. Calypso looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Shillings scores with a leg kick.
Shillings changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Shillings throws a sloppy head kick and Calypso moves out of range easily.
Shillings throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A slapping leg kick lands for Shillings.

Oooooh!!! Shillings has knocked Calypso down with a huge combo! Shillings steps away and waves a wobbly Calypso back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Calypso is rocked!


It looks like Jack Calypso has been cut.
Shillings tries to bum rush Calypso with a series of wild strikes but Calypso uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Shillings is looking to score with low kicks.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shillings is stalking Calypso. Calypso circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Shillings, and it's lights out! Calypso really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stack Shillings!
Stack Shillings decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
