Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ninja Monk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. On To The Next One kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hong bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Monk swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hong.
We've been informed that Monk has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hong throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Hong walks into a straight right hand from Monk.
Hong misses with a body shot.
Monk throws a jab when Hong was well out of range.
Hong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Monk paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Monk avoids the head kick by Hong.

and Monk counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hong won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Monk decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A punch lands to the side of Hong 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Hong has closed the distance and engaged Monk in a clinch.

Monk gets control of Hong's arms and successfully pulls guard. Monk will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Hong won't allow Monk to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Monk pulls Hong in close to prevent any damage.
