Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Laudrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James's entrance music is Kid rock - Cowboy. A fine choice. Laudrup has chosen U2- Zoo Station as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laudrup uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Ron James has been cut.
James throws a solid leg kick but Laudrup takes the impact on his shin and smiles at James.
James comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
James with a hook.
James misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
James throws out a loose jab but Laudrup uses good head movement to avoid it.
James misses with a body kick.
James has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from James there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Laudrup checks a low kick from James.
James misses with a low kick.
James throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Laudrup moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Laudrup scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Laudrup moves out of range of the body kick from James.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James gets cracked there but stands up to it.
James throws a leg kick that is checked
and Laudrup counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Laudrup looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A lazy left from Laudrup finds it's target.

James is rocked!
Laudrup throws a quick head kick that knocks James silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Laudrup is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Hans Laudrup!
In his post fight interview, Hans Laudrup gave a big smile as he said 'wtf, who changed my nickname to Pillow Hans?!'.
