Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kullervo Pelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petr Jakovlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pelli comes to the cage accompanied by Juha Vainio - Nakkila. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jakovlev's choice of entrance music: Devour. On his way into the cage it seems that Kullervo Pelli has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kullervo Pelli seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petr Jakovlev!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelli punishes Jakovlev's body with a nice straight punch.
Pelli stuffs the takedown attempt from Jakovlev. Jakovlev gets slowly back to his feet.
Pelli thows a body shot but no joy.
Jakovlev fails with a takedown attempt.
Jakovlev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pelli tries to avoid it but Jakovlev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pelli to the ground. Pelli escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kullervo Pelli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petr Jakovlev.
Pelli lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jakovlev circles away quickly and effectively.
Jakovlev throws the left hand but Pelli avoids the punch easily.
Pelli misses with a body shot.
Pelli drops Jakovlev with a beautiful combination! Jakovlev stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pelli is looking for the KO!
It looks like Petr Jakovlev has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jakovlev fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pelli cracks Jakovlev with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pelli moves away from the strike by Jakovlev.
BOOM! Pelli lands a beautiful left hook that drops Jakovlev. Jakovlev tries to recover but Pelli is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Jakovlev lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kullervo Pelli!
