The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cezo swivels and escapes.

Cezo slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

silva is pressing down on Cezo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cezo is holding on for now.
Cezo is looking for a sweep. silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
silva stops Cezo from getting back to his feet.
Cezo tries to get to full guard but silva has control of the leg.

Cezo kicks off silva and gets to his feet.

silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

silva is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cezo moves into full guard.

Cezo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cezo pushes silva off and gets back to his feet.

silva moves out of range of the strikes.

silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cezo tries to bench press silva off him but silva keeps the position.
