Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brad Bandridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bandridge kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 6 pack of beer- Hank 3. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as David Taylor enters the cage!

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Taylor ! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor misses the shot to the body. Bandridge drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Taylor lands a lovely overhand right. Bandridge takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Taylor clinches up with Bandridge and pushes him back against the cage. Taylor doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Bandridge letting Taylor take a breather here. Taylor lands with a left to the head. Taylor is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor stalling.
Taylor is trying to drag Bandridge to the mat but Bandridge just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Taylor creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Taylor displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bandridge up against the cage. Taylor makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Taylor is working for takedown but Bandridge is calmly controlling the position for now. Taylor just leaning against Bandridge, taking a breather.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bandridge is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. The referee is keeping an eye on Taylor - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Brad Bandridge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Taylor . Taylor has Bandridge pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bandridge manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Bandridge tries to stall but Taylor uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Taylor lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bandridge or not. Bandridge blocks a body shot from Taylor . Bandridge slows down the pace here.
Taylor has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile. Taylor goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bandridge prevents it.

Taylor tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Taylor in side control, throwing shots but Bandridge defends. Bandridge struggling a bit here. Taylor landing strikes. Bandridge on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bandridge tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor is putting a hurting on Bandridge here, landing some big shots from side control. You can see the frustration on Bandridge's face as Taylor controls the position. Taylor working the body and head with strikes. Taylor with the ground and pound but Bandridge regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Bandridge is refusing to be controlled, as Taylor sits in half guard. Taylor throwing shots but Bandridge is blocking nicely. Bandridge knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Taylor on the ground. Bandridge wants to control but Taylor is keeping busy and won't allow it. Taylor is trying to control. Bandridge wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Taylor tries to pass to full mount but Bandridge defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor looks to land a strike but Bandridge avoids it nicely and regains full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Taylor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bandridge is keeping the position for now. Taylor wants to control from the top but Bandridge keeps moving. The ref stands the fighters back up. David Taylor was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bandridge walks into a straight right hand from Taylor .

Bandridge takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Taylor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bandridge has time to react. Taylor works Bandridge's body with a nice hook. Taylor dodges the punch combination from Bandridge.
Brad Bandridge is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bandridge throws a nice looking combination but Taylor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bandridge gets tackled into the cage by Taylor . Taylor maintains the clinch. Taylor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Taylor tests Bandridge's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bandridge fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Taylor closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Taylor 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Taylor breaks the clinch.
Bandridge throws out a loose jab but Taylor uses good head movement to avoid it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bandridge jabbing away but nothing is landing. Taylor slips under a jab from Bandridge. Bandridge swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Taylor counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bandridge won't be happy with that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Taylor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
A shot to the body from Bandridge misses and Taylor counters with a takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taylor scores with punches from side control. Taylor wants to control but Bandridge is keeping him busy. Bandridge is trying to control Taylor 's posture but Taylor avoids it. Bandridge avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Taylor . Taylor looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bandridge is avoiding damage well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor is working Bandridge over with some ground and pound from side control. Taylor staying calm. Bandridge tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Taylor easily slips into full mount! Taylor thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. BOOM! Taylor connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor wants to control but Bandridge has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Bandridge is staying active underneath Taylor , who seems content to just control the action from this position. Taylor uses his free foot to push down on Bandridge's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bandridge. Taylor landing strikes, looking to finish! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bandridge wants to control but Taylor is having none of it. Taylor punishing his opponent with strikes. Taylor unloading with bombs! Feeble punches landing from Bandridge - he's mounted - they can't hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bandridge is in a horrible position here. Taylor smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Taylor looking to control but Bandridge is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Taylor with good strikes from the mount here! Taylor looking to finish Bandridge with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bandridge! Taylor connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Bandridge is rocked! Taylor lands a big elbow - Bandridge is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Bandridge is forced to tap out!

He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. In defeat, Brad Bandridge stepped up to the mic, saying 'I must have really underestimated you Good fuckin Job.'.
