Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joulu Pukki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isiah Acer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Acer's choice of entrance music: Mad at Gravity- Burn. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pukki tries to avoid it but Acer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pukki to the ground. Pukki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pukki has taken the fight to the clinch.

and Pukki counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pukki.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Acer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pukki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pukki is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at ELITE GYM that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Pukki keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Acer's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Acer has his foot on Pukki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pukki works his way back into a safe position though.

Acer throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pukki uses it to pass to side control.
You can see the frustration on Acer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Pukki has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Acer looks to move to half guard but instead Pukki has passed into mount! Damn!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pukki cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
