A fine choice. Heavy Damage had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damage shoots in and bounces Ballswick off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ballswick is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Damage in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ballswick is trying to keep Damage in close.

Ballswick seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Ballswick escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Damage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
