Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Gzrel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Raefon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gzrel comes to the cage accompanied by Warriors Dance. Raefon has chosen Riot - Three Days Grace as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mad Raefon!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raefon with a poor takedown
and Gzrel counters with a right hand to the body.

Gzrel gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Raefon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gzrel pulls his leg out and moves away.
Raefon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gzrel counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Raefon is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Gabriel Gzrel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mad Raefon.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Raefon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gzrel avoids it really well and circles away.
We've been hearing reports that Gzrel has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Gzrel lands a leg kick that knocks Raefon off balance momentarily.

Raefon takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Mad Raefon has been cut.
Gzrel fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Gzrel lands a head kick. Raefon smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Raefon is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gzrel is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Raefon.
Gzrel cracks Raefon with a good jab.

Gzrel lands a knee to the head.

That has opened up Mad Raefon's cut even more.
Gzrel lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Raefon or not.

Gzrel lands a good knee to the midsection. Raefon won't want to take too many of those.

Mad Raefon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Gzrel throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Gzrel lands a hook to the side of the head.
Gzrel lands a left hand.
Gzrel lands an elbow inside that Raefon shrugs off.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mad Raefon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A relieved looking Gabriel Gzrel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
