Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Barron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes to the cage accompanied by Killing In The Name. Barron has chosen Ave Satani as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Colin Barron enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Forrest Griffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Colin Barron! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barron dodges the punch combination from Griffin.
We've been told by Griffin's head coaches at Xtreme Punishment that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Griffin avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Barron fails in his attempt to clinch. Barron throws a head kick but Griffin moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Griffin. Barron does a little dance to reset his feet. Barron looks to land a right hand but Griffin moved out of range. Barron lands with a straight right. Griffin didn't see that one coming. Barron scores with a leg kick.
Barron lands with a kick to the ribs.
Barron tries to clinch but Griffin moves out of range. Griffin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Griffin throws a leg kick but Barron sees it coming and checks it nicely. Barron takes a swing at Griffin's ribcage but misses. Griffin throws a lazy right hand but Barron sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A good leg kick by Barron. Griffin misses with a wild combination.
Griffin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Griffin lands with a straight right. Barron didn't see that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin throws a head kick but Barron moves out of range.

and Barron counters with a one-two to the body. Good leg kick by Barron there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Barron tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Barron lands with an overhand left. Griffin gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Griffin tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Barron is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Griffin buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Griffin!! Griffin is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Barron throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colin Barron! A very excited looking Colin Barron made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
