Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alan Wake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Via Dios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dios has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

29 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Via Dios!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wake throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dios looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dios lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wake's sensitive parts.
Dios misses with a two punch combination.
A punch combination from Wake misses.
Dios fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wake to the ground. Dios is now in Wake's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dios passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Dios lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Dios working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wake is trying to buck Dios off.
Dios works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dios sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Wake is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Dios tries to score with some ground and pound. Wake controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dios tries to advance to mount but can't.
Dios misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Dios throws a strike aimed at the side of Wake's head but Wake avoids it well.
Wake is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Dios moves into full mount!
Dios fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dios is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Wake can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dios postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Wake in real trouble here! The ref calls for Wake to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Via Dios!
