Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Struve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy TwoShoes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy TwoShoes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefan Struve! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmy TwoShoes! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Struve with that takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from TwoShoes. Struve dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Struve doesn't manage to clinch there - TwoShoes circles away.
Struve forces TwoShoes back against the cage and clinches. Struve breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
TwoShoes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Struve looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Struve throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. TwoShoes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Struve keeps working. Struve is trying to control TwoShoes's posture but TwoShoes avoids it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. TwoShoes staying calm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Struve manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! TwoShoes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Struve is working away from the top position though. Struve passes to full mount! Struve with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
TwoShoes is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. TwoShoes wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. TwoShoes fending off the submission attempt from Struve. TwoShoes defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Struve is trying to stick to TwoShoes's back but TwoShoes is turning into Struve. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Struve's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by TwoShoes. Struve trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Struve is on top in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if TwoShoes can do anything to dispel that myth. TwoShoes looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Struve will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. TwoShoes is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Struve trying to control the position from guard on top but TwoShoes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - TwoShoes has eaten all the pies! Struve being controlled here momentarily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. TwoShoes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stefan Struve dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Struve wants to clinch up but TwoShoes keeps it at a distance. Struve gets in close and instigates a clinch. Struve breaks from the clinch.

Struve's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Struve has taken the fight to the clinch.
Struve is pressed up against the cage. TwoShoes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Struve down to the mat. Struve avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. TwoShoes shoots in but Struve avoids the takedown attempt easily. Stefan Struve has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy TwoShoes. TwoShoes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Struve counters with a one-two to the body. TwoShoes scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Struve wants to control but TwoShoes is keeping busy and won't allow it. Struve tries to kick TwoShoes off but TwoShoes keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. TwoShoes wants to pass the guard but Struve is defending well. Struve taking some punishment here, with TwoShoes in his half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. TwoShoes lands a nice short elbow. Struve misses with some strikes from the bottom.
TwoShoes is looking to take a break and control but Struve is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Struve here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. TwoShoes is pressing down on Struve's thigh, looking to free his foot. Struve is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Struve wants to get back to his feet. TwoShoes winds up and cracks Struve with a swinging punch to the side of the head. TwoShoes working over Struve with some ground and pound. Struve looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. TwoShoes perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. TwoShoes is looking to stall here but Struve recovers full guard. TwoShoes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Struve. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. TwoShoes trying to control but Struve is working from the bottom. TwoShoes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Struve works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Struve working a defensive guard here.
TwoShoes won't allow Struve to sweep him here. Struve preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Struve is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. TwoShoes content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. TwoShoes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. TwoShoes throws a big right hand that misses. Struve keeping moving, preventing TwoShoes from controlling successfully. Struve is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and TwoShoes defends well. TwoShoes is in close to Struve's body, working some short punches and elbows. Struve has his foot on TwoShoes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. TwoShoes works his way back into a safe position though. TwoShoes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. TwoShoes makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. TwoShoes sitting in guard here, content to control. TwoShoes postures up and lands a big shot to Struve's brow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. TwoShoes is working Struve over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. TwoShoes engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! TwoShoes postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Struve keeping moving, preventing TwoShoes from controlling successfully. TwoShoes is looking to work some ground and pound but Struve has wrist control. TwoShoes wants to control from the top but Struve keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! TwoShoes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Struve's head. TwoShoes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy TwoShoes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. TwoShoes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. TwoShoes trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Struve manages to pass to mount!
Struve manages to capitalize on a mistake by TwoShoes to take his back! TwoShoes fending off the submission attempt from Struve. A lull in the action here.

TwoShoes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are breathing heavily. TwoShoes wants to control from the top but Struve keeps moving. TwoShoes is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. TwoShoes won't allow Struve to sweep him here. TwoShoes with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. TwoShoes with a nice head shot there. TwoShoes cracks Struve with a solid left hand.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stefan Struve. I think Struve has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
