Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey 2Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rua might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Roy Jones - Can't be touched . Harvey 2Face has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
2Face lands with a shot to the body.
Rua goes for a double leg but 2Face avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as 2Face continues to drive forward.

We've been hearing reports that Rua has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for 2Face.
Rua drops down looking for an ankle pick but 2Face pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rua shoots in for a takedown but 2Face shows good takedown defense.

Rua keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
2Face moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Rua throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around 2Face's waist but 2Face gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rua off to one side.

Rua tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but 2Face defends well and Rua ends up having to push 2Face into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Rua manages to get an easy takedown there - catching 2Face on his heels. He'll look to pass 2Face's guard now, I'm sure.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
2Face has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Rua is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Rua has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. 2Face is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rua shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says 2Face as he avoids it easily.

2Face keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No joy there for 2Face, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
2Face will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rua walks into a jab.

Rua dives in and grabs 2Face's left leg, looking for a takedown. 2Face pushes down on Rua's head and hops out.
2Face is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rua.

2Face comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rua drops his hands momentarily and 2Face takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Rua avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rua with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling 2Face to score with a decent uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Harvey 2Face showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

2Face lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
2Face leaves Rua with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rua swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by 2Face.

2Face throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and 2Face counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Rua takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
2Face feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rua sprawling to the canvas! Rua rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can 2Face finish him?!
Oh Rua is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rua gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! 2Face gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harvey 2Face!
