Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Blaylock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Shimazu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaylock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Head Like a Hole. Dirk Blaylock had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimazu misses with a takedown attempt
and Blaylock counters with a nice uppercut.
We've been hearing reports that Blaylock has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Blaylock throws a looping overhand right but Shimazu ducks down to avoid it.
Blaylock lands with a shot to the body.
Blaylock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shimazu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shimazu shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like William Shimazu has been cut.
Shimazu looks winded!
Blaylock rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shimazu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Blaylock throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Shimazu crashing down! Shimazu tries to stagger back to his feet but Blaylock just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Shimazu asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dirk Blaylock!
Dirk Blaylock really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that xXx Clothing (Nothing Over $20) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
