Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Levchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Levchenko is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Killing in The Name. Artur Levchenko will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture misses with a lunging right hand
and Levchenko counters with a one-two to the body.
Levchenko lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Levchenko changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Levchenko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Levchenko scores with the left hand. Couture knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Marcelo Couture has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Levchenko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Couture misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Levchenko throws out a loose jab but Couture uses good head movement to avoid it.
Couture fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Levchenko manages to avoid it.

Couture manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Levchenko on his heels. He'll look to pass Levchenko's guard now, I'm sure.

Levchenko told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Couture throws a strike but Levchenko rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Couture wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Levchenko manages to pass to side control.
Couture has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Levchenko is working away from the top position though.

Couture is trying to stand up here but Levchenko is controlling him well.
Levchenko content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Artur Levchenko wasn't active enough on the ground.
Couture will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Couture shoots for a takedown but Levchenko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Levchenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Couture misses with an uppercut. Levchenko saw that one coming.
Levchenko drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Couture right on the button. Couture goes down! Levchenko follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Levchenko gets the win via TKO!

Artur Levchenko decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
