The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guilard uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bigsby.

A big head kick from Guilard and Bigsby is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Clayton Bigsby has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Guilard wants to stand but Bigsby has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Guilard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bigsby. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bigsby is looking to cinch up a triangle. Guilard throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bigsby's body to avoid the submission. Bigsby has instead reached around Guilard's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bigsby arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
