Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Hwoarang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otdHbA4GlSI. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Hwoarang.
Hwoarang misses with an uppercut
and Steel counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Steel.
Steel landing some nice looking knees to the body.
A frustrated look appears on Hwoarang's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Steel is trying to break free.
Steel decides to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hwoarang working some strikes from top position.
Hwoarang prevents Steel from getting back to his feet.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hwoarang's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Hwoarang trying to control the position from guard on top but Steel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hwoarang postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hwoarang throws an elbow that misses. Steel uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hwoarang's guard. Nice move by Steel!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hwoarang keeping moving, preventing Steel from controlling successfully.
Steel is looking to stand up but Hwoarang won't let him.
Hwoarang thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Hwoarang keeping full guard, as Steel tries to pass.
Hwoarang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Steel stops Hwoarang from standing up.
Steel told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Hwoarang seems keen to control Steel's posture.
Hwoarang wants to stand but Steel is controlling the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hwoarang looks for a takedown but Steel sprawls well.
Hwoarang is breathing heavily.
Steel listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Hwoarang throws a sloppy head kick
and Steel counters with a nice body shot.

Hwoarang works the jab nicely.
Steel jabs Hwoarang to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hwoarang throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Steel counters with a good, hard body kick but Hwoarang shrugs it off.
Hwoarang takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hwoarang throws a sloppy head kick
and Steel counters with a straight right hand.
Hwoarang drops his hands momentarily and Steel takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hwoarang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A head kick by Hwoarang misses
and Steel counters with a nice leg kick.
Hwoarang tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Steel lands a head kick. Hwoarang smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Steel connects with a body shot.

and Steel counters with a three punch combo that has Hwoarang backing up. Hwoarang nods at Steel to acknowledge the strikes.
Hwoarang has been working on his balance at Cozad The Island, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Steel.
Hwoarang throws a sloppy head kick
and Steel counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hwoarang thinking.
Hwoarang is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Johnny Steel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Steel thuds his right hand into Hwoarang's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Steel shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hwoarang eats them both and turns towards Steel to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hwoarang throws a lazy head kick
and Steel counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Steel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Steel dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Hwoarang throws a lazy head kick
and Hwoarang takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Steel scores with a nice head shot.
A head kick by Hwoarang misses
and Steel counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Steel cracks Hwoarang with a good jab.
Hwoarang has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Steel counters with a three punch combo that has Hwoarang backing up. Hwoarang nods at Steel to acknowledge the strikes.
Hwoarang is rocked!
Hwoarang throws a sloppy head kick
and Steel counters with an outside leg kick.
Jab, jab by Steel - just one landing.
Oh Hwoarang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hwoarang takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Steel drops Hwoarang with a naaaaasty hook - Hwoarang is in real trouble here! Steel dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Steel!
An out of breath Johnny Steel thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
