Hazlehurst has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hazlehurst connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
The crowd cheers as Hazlehurst lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jacare Souza doesn't seem phased though.
Daniel Hazlehurst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jacare Souza misses with a takedown attempt
and Hazlehurst counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jacare Souza closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hazlehurst cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hazlehurst lands a big right hand that sends Jacare Souza crashing to the mat! Hazlehurst stays standing though and waves Jacare Souza back to his feet!
