The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drakorov avoids a kick to the body.

Brown shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brown showed some decent athleticism there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown is looking to advance position but Drakorov won't allow it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brown lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Drakorov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Drakorov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Brown pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Drakorov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Brown checks a leg kick.
Brown throws a leg kick but Drakorov sees it coming and moves out of range.
Brown connects with a leg kick. Drakorov looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Drakorov to the ground. Brown is now in Drakorov's guard.
Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Drakorov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Brown pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Brown tries to land a front kick but Drakorov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Brown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Drakorov. Brown shrugs it off though.

Drakorov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Brown checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Brown shoots in but Drakorov avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Drakorov. That's going to slow Brown down.

and Brown counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drakorov's guard now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nino Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Drakorov closes the distance and clinches.
Drakorov throws a punch but it's blocked by Brown.
Drakorov lands a left hand.
Brown blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Drakorov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fight stays on the outside here - Drakorov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brown connects with a nice short shot to Drakorov's temple.
