Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Takeya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eng Leo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeru Takeya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eng Leo! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takeya fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Takeya looking to score a takedown here. Leo is defending well but Takeya drives through and ends up in Leo's guard. Takeya tries to free his leg and advance position but Leo is retaining full guard. Takeya throws an elbow that misses. Leo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Takeya's guard. Nice move by Leo! Takeya keeping moving, preventing Leo from controlling successfully. Takeya thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Leo stopping the sweep attempt from Takeya.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leo trying to control the position from guard on top but Takeya is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Takeya is looking to sweep but instead, Leo has passed into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Takeya wants to get back to full guard. Takeya manages to get to full guard.
Leo wants to pass the guard but Takeya is keeping the position. Takeya is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Takeya is working hard here to advance position. Leo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Eng Leo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Takeya shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Leo as he jumps to the side. Takeya closes this distance looking for a takedown but Leo circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeru Takeya. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Leo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Takeya defends well and Leo ends up having to push Takeya into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Leo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Takeya smiles and moves away.

Takeya goes for a double leg but Leo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Leo continues to drive forward. Takeya gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Leo is looking to improve his position.

Takeya with a flurry of punches that miss. Leo is looking to stand back up but Takeya counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Leo. Takeya throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Leo wants to control but Takeya is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takeya is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Takeya thows a huge punch but Leo dodges it nicely.

Takeru Takeya dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Leo fails with a takedown attempt. Takeya shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Leo sprawls well. Leo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Takeya gets slowly back to his feet. Takeya dives in and grabs Leo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Leo pushes down on Takeya's head and hops out. Takeya feints and as Leo raises his hands in defense, Takeya changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Takeya working some strikes from top position. Takeya working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Takeya is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takeya swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Leo lands a couple of good shots and Takeya has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Takeya tries to escape but Leo has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Leo trying to control. Takeya is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Leo is trying to stick to Takeya's back but Takeya is turning into Leo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Leo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Takeya. This has been an exciting period of action! Leo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Takeya misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Takeya tries to roll over but Leo keeps him under control. Takeya moves into full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Leo scoring with punches to the head and body. Leo cracks Takeya with a solid left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Takeru Takeya will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Leo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Leo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. No luck for Takeya with that takedown attempt. Takeya shoots in for a takedown but Leo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeru Takeya. That's going to take a lot out of him. Takeya is trying hard to land a takedown here. Leo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Leo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Takeya tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Leo is in Takeya's guard. Leo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Takeya keeping moving, preventing Leo from controlling successfully. Takeya missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Takeya not landing any meaningful shots this time. Leo regains full guard. Nicely done. Takeya prevents Leo from getting back to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Takeya looking to pass the guard. Leo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Leo's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Takeya accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Takeru Takeya is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Takeya engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
And that's the end of the fight! Takeru Takeya showed his dominance in that final round. Well Takeya has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
