Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by White Reflection by Two Mix. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stone sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Stone wants to get back to full guard.
Johnson trying to control the action but Stone is working from the bottom.
Johnson stands up and beckons Stone to join him on the feet.
Stone misses with a hook. Johnson ducked under it nicely.
Stone moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.
Johnson drives through and clinches with Stone against the cage.
Stone goes for a takedown in the clinch but Johnson prevents it.
Stone gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Johnson regains guard.
Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Stone is pushing down on Johnson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Johnson is fighting to maintain full guard but Stone has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stone is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.
Stone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Stone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Stone is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Johnson connects with a couple of short punches.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Johnson.
